Strengthened technical capacities of the DHPRS-M&E team on project management and HIS
The second outcome which sought to strengthen the technical capacities of the DHPRS-M&E team on project management and HIS, did so by/entailed the following:
Supporting the DHPRS-M&E team with impartial technical advice on quality and standards of various HIS elements through concept development, facilitation, and participation at various meetings and working groups set up by the team. Some of which include:
- Aiding concept and slide development for discussions with the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on merging the Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR) information system with the Health Management Information System (HMIS)
- Participating in discussions with the National Tuberculosis (TB) control program and partners to provide technical advice on approaches/architecture for integrating the National e-TB (electronic tuberculosis) Manager data & HIS with the National DHIS2 system
- Contributing to the National DHIS2 Technical Task Team (DHIS2 TTT) setup to improve the functionality of the DHIS2; among others
